Spiritual science

Contemporary mankind is proud of achievements in the field of scientific knowledge. Science is not the part of modern culture only but the basis of modern civilization development. Nevertheless this huge scientific potential is not enough to build the real world picture because it is based on the consideration of only material sensually perceived reality. As the result of this modern civilization entered a comprehensive crisis: ecological, economic, family crisis etc. There is just crisis of scientific knowledge in the basis of all these kinds of crisis. And we have this situation despite the steady increase of investment in scientific research and the constant emergence of new branches of science.

Anthroposophy suggests to use principles and methods of scientific cognition for researching of spiritual realm because spiritual non-perceptible phenomenon are as real as those ones that directly affect vision, hearing, smell, and the other person's feelings. Indeed this approach is not in contradiction with scientific one considering in its totality because the very first science is philosophy. And basic philosophical categories such as being, consciousness, spirit, substance, quality, quantity, etc. are invisible, immeasurable and incalculable using the tools available to the most modern scientific research institution.

Anthroposophy as spiritual science contains the results of objective scientific researches of spiritual world – the world of ideas.
