Waking up in the morning human being experiences the presence which is around him and influences him just now and just in this place. But every moment the presence is becoming the past and transforming into remembrance. It is very important to be able to recall and to remember the past. It is one of conditions of experience yourself as human being who relies on his experience and preserves the integrity of his life and his consciousness. But it is equally important to feel the future without this the soul is embraced by the fear and frustration. Often ones are trying to predict the future by analyzing the past and the present but these forecasts come true very rarely and only partly.
Nevertheless there is real revelation of the future in our life – it is the arts. Painters, musicians, sculptors, poets show the future in their works. But only those who have the courage to open their own souls to the future otherwise they simply copy the fragments of the presence or reproduce already dead images of the past. Anthroposophy brought impulses into many areas of art including painting. When people speak of anthroposophic (anthroposophically orientated) painting first of all they have in mind working with the creative power of color. Followers of this trend tend to paint in such a way when forms appears out of color or of the interaction between light and darkness only in this case the future can be shown in the picture. If, however, the artist depicts what is in his immediate experiences or in memories he always shows the past!
It is given to foresee the future to a few people only but even those, to whom it is given, cannot see everything that would be because the future is in the process of continuous creation. But whatever it would be in the future Truth, Goodness and Beauty will live there. And one of the tasks of art is to bring light of the beauty of the future to man as a light of hope and joy.
Everyone can experience creating power of color. You need only to take brush, colors and paper and try to connect your soul with color…
