What is Waldorf School? And what does make her just Waldorf one? Waldorf pedagogic is based on anthroposophy which unites wisdom about human being with the methods of this wisdom using in everyday life. So the respect to human being is the main thing in Waldorf School. It must be respect to the child. Every child is excepted here like he is without any attempt to make out of him a kind of “convenient” object for education and studying. It must be respect to the teacher who can rely on his professional intuition which allows him to find an individual approach to each child. It must be also respect to the world including other spiritual streams which can also lead to the truth.
Waldorf School is the part of modern life. So it should not only provide knowledge but also to teach to perceive beauty through the arts. Therefore children in the Waldorf School are engaged in a lot of painting, sculpture , music, singing, eurythmy and different kinds of handicrafts.
Waldorf School is the one which does not attempt to educate person in accordance to commitments of outer world but helps child to create his own capacities in order he can be able to create the new world where he could realize his potential to be free. So Waldorf pedagogic is the education to freedom.
