The path of knowledge includes two aspects: self-development and service to the Spirit. They are inseparable, like two sides of the same coin. Touching true knowledge brings a person to a higher level of consciousness and development, but, at the same time, gives him those powers that cannot be used egoistically, for himself and his loved ones. These are powers for serving humanity in the sense of Truth, Goodness and Beauty, and, therefore, for serving the Spirit
The anthroposophical path of knowledge leads from the experience of the spiritual in man to the spiritual in the Universe. On this path man can experience himself as an individual spirit and a Spirit among Spirits. But for this it is necessary, first of all, to master oneself, the powers of one's soul. And to live morally (from the Spirit) means to serve the Spirit
